About The Position

Atos is hiring a Database Administrator to support production databases using Oracle Database and IBM Db2 LUW. The role involves database installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, backup and recovery, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. The position also requires knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery, experience with Linux/Unix, and participation in incident, change, and problem management. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and collaboratively, communicate effectively, cross-train across database technologies, and participate in an on-call rotation. Candidates must successfully complete the required fingerprinting and security/background clearance process.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of DBA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Database and IBM Db2 LUW.
• Experience supporting production databases.
• Experience with database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
• Experience with backup, restore, and recovery.
• Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of high-availability and disaster-recovery concepts.
• Linux/Unix experience.
• Incident, change, and problem management experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to cross-train across database technologies.
• Ability to participate in the on-call rotation.
• Ability to successfully complete the required fingerprinting and security/background clearance process.
