Requirements
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) or similar role
- Proficiency with relational database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL
- Strong knowledge of database security, backup/recovery, and performance tuning
- Experience with SQL scripting, stored procedures, and query optimization
- Familiarity with cloud-based database platforms (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.) is a plus
- Relevant certifications (OCA, MCSA, or similar) preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (DBMS) to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor database health, performance metrics, and capacity planning to prevent downtime
- Develop and implement data backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Manage database security, user access controls, and permissions
- Perform database tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies
- Collaborate with development teams to support application database requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
