The administrator will manage, oversee, and review complex project plans, focusing on execution and production support. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is key for reviewing initiatives, compliance changes, vendor updates, and system maintenance. The position serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Application Database Services team, participating in RDBMS functionality and testing, including reviewing business requirements, functional specifications, and executing tests. They will assist in coordinating integrated testing to identify issues in the test environment. The role involves recommending RDBMS designs to meet customer needs, ensuring the resolution of issues related to enhancements and production problems to minimize negative impacts. Additionally, the administrator will recommend new RDBMS technologies and processes to improve applications and client support, provide functional feedback on vendor software, identify performance enhancement opportunities, and maintain internal control standards, including audit points and regulatory issues. Promoting diversity and adhering to the company's risk and regulatory standards are also essential. The job holder works under the supervision of a Senior Technology Manager, possessing expert technical RDBMS knowledge and contributing to departmental strategies and resource allocations. Responsibilities include problem resolution, systems development, and daily activities, with a focus on developing less experienced personnel and providing backup to senior staff. The role may involve serving as a technical representative on committees and projects, interacting regularly with Technology staff, leadership, Architecture, application teams, and vendors.
