About The Position

Implements and maintains the smooth operation and physical design of databases. Conducts performance tuning of indexes and databases, reviews database design and system integration, provides backup and recovery, and recommends enhancements or improvements. Maintains security and integrity controls, formulates database management policies, procedures, and standards, and monitors transaction activity and utilization. May develop stored procedures and triggers.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of relevant exempt experience, or a master's degree and 1 year of relevant professional experience.
Equivalent education and experience pathways include: NNS Apprentice School graduate; Navy Nuclear Power School graduate; associate's degree or other formal 2-year program plus 2 years of relevant exempt experience or 4 years of relevant non-exempt experience; military experience at paygrade E-5 or above; high school diploma/GED plus 4 years of combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military, or other relevant exempt experience; or high school diploma/GED plus 8 years of combined manufacturing, shipbuilding, trades, military, or other relevant non-exempt experience.
U.S. citizenship is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Python, and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with data analytics and AI technologies.
Knowledge of SAP table structure.
Motivation, ownership of work products, ability to communicate technical ideas, and ability to work closely with customers to implement optimal solutions.
