About The Position
This role involves providing consulting services as a Database Administrator. The contractor will be responsible for various database administration tasks, including backup and recovery, working with development teams, and managing Oracle technologies. The contractor must provide their own equipment, but access to a virtual desktop will be provided.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field
- 7+ years of experience in a Development or Service Administration role
- Exposure to ITIL / ITSM / Managed Services / DevOps / SOA operational models
- Experience performing and configuring RMAN backup and recovery
- 5+ years of experience working with development teams
- Experience with Oracle GoldenGate
- Experience with Oracle installations
- Experience with Oracle RAC
- Must have own equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.)
