About The Position

This is a 6-month student co-op role from January to June 2027, with resume review beginning in October 2026. The co-op will join the Data Visualization and Application Development (DVAD) team within Quantitative Sciences and Development Operations (QSDO). The DVAD team builds and supports applications, data products, and visualizations to help stakeholders consume data efficiently and make better informed decisions. This role is suited for a student who can engage with users to understand their needs, is curious about how technology can improve work, and is interested in gathering user evaluation metrics to shape a successful product. The role will be divided between supporting a centralized clinical trial operations platform and assisting with project management and information gathering for QSDO-wide visualizations. For the clinical trial operations platform, the co-op will help develop an evaluation plan for user feedback, support its implementation, and analyze and report on responses to evaluate adoption, usage, identify barriers, and recommend improvements. For the project management aspect, the co-op will identify useful visualizations across QSDO by interviewing stakeholders, documenting business questions and user needs, organizing findings, tracking activities, and helping the DVAD team prioritize potential visualization opportunities. Success in this role depends on curiosity, thoughtful problem-solving, strong communication, attention to detail, and a user-centered perspective. Exposure to project management, survey design, analytics, research methods, or data visualization is helpful and will provide opportunities for hands-on learning with a cross-functional team.
