About The Position

Designs, builds, implements, and supports enterprise data transmission, managed file transfer (MFT), and secure connectivity solutions to enable scalable, secure, and reliable business operations. The role applies technical knowledge, automation, and engineering best practices to develop and optimize file transmission platforms, improve operational resiliency, and ensure secure data exchange across internal and external business partners.

The position manages infrastructure engineering projects and processes, supports technology governance and regulatory compliance, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate technologies and improve infrastructure standards. It also troubleshoots complex technical issues, reviews infrastructure designs and procedures, guides lower-level technical professionals, and leads infrastructure processes through analysis of data transmission workflows and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies, including cloud, network, database, storage, platform, computing, and middleware.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong knowledge and experience with managed file transfer platforms, secure data exchange protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, AS2), automation, and technical solution implementation.
• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects and supporting large-scale file transmission environments.
• Experience using AI-powered tools and technologies to optimize engineering workflows, automate operational processes, improve productivity, and drive innovation within infrastructure and data transmission environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement enterprise data transmission, managed file transfer, secure file exchange, and connectivity platforms for internal and external business partners.
• Apply automation, monitoring, and optimization techniques to support availability, reliability, and performance of file transmission and data exchange services.
• Manage infrastructure engineering projects and processes in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to integrate technologies and continuously improve infrastructure standards and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting infrastructure performance and reliability.
• Support compliance with technology strategies, standards, and governance to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory adherence.
• Review and guide infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures to promote operational consistency and knowledge sharing.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to lower-level technical professionals.
• Develop technical solutions through analysis of data transmission workflows, file transfer platforms, and connectivity services, and lead infrastructure processes.
