Utilizes knowledge of the CWW system, GIS, GPS, maps, and electronic line location devices to locate and then inspect sewer mains through the operation of a remote closed-circuit video camera system. Utilizes PACP or other specified standard method to properly record all encountered defects on video or accompanying software. Also performs smoke testing, dye testing, and flow monitoring to investigate sewer system problems and to determine sources of inflow and infiltration. Performs heavy manual labor and operates required mechanical equipment. Exercises responsibility for upkeep and preventative maintenance of all equipment used by Team. Works under the supervision of Field Services Supervisor. However, much of the assigned work is performed with no direct supervision. Supervises one Data Technician I and is responsible for training him/her in the operation of all related equipment and software. Attends all applicable seminars and training provided by CWW. In addition, all other functions and responsibilities as assigned. Employee will be required to perform on-call duties on a rotating schedule.
