The Data Support Specialist serves our staff in maximizing the possibilities of the church's data management systems. This role supports the day-to-day operations of Seacoast Church management system (Ministry Platform) and other 3rd party systems to equip the Seacoast staff with better service to the congregation and ministries. The specialist will create a customer-focused experience in every interaction with staff and attendees, both verbal and in writing, taking the extra step to be welcoming and go above and beyond in the response. This role is responsible for the daily triage of support tickets coming to the Data Team as the primary support ticket agent, coaching and providing direction to staff for resolving current and future requests, and working to resolve tickets independently. The specialist will project manage the ticketing system, reassigning advanced tickets to appropriate team members, and ensuring proper follow up of all tickets. They will assist with the Data Team's projects to better utilize the church's data systems, maintain the Data Team's documentation and knowledgebase support articles, and thoughtfully leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to work more efficiently drafting and maintaining knowledgebase articles, summarizing and prioritizing tickets, and streamlining routine data tasks while applying sound judgment about when AI output needs to be verified before it is trusted or applied to church data. The role will use AI-assisted tools to help write, review, and troubleshoot SQL queries and scripts, validating results for accuracy before making changes. They will help the Data Team identify, test, and improve practical AI-assisted workflows that speed up response times and enhance the staff and attendee experience. The specialist will support some administrative functions with the weekly Data Team Call, on-call schedule, and scheduling meetings. Availability for weekends and after hours for pre-scheduled on-call Data Team support of church events, as well as some large all-call church events periodically throughout the year is required. Participation in the ChMS user community to learn strategies and ideas from other churches to improve the user experience and effectiveness of ChMS is also part of the role, along with general administrative duties as needed.
