About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist to provide analytical and technical support to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The ideal candidate has strong experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and modern data tools, combined with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, multi‑directional environment.

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • FOUR (4) or more years of experience in data science, analytics, data development, or data management.
  • Hands-on experience with, Power BI, SQL, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Strong technical communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage error handling, perform data validation, and lead data correction workflows
  • Proven experience conducting data analysis and developing dashboards for diverse end users
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and accept direction from multiple leaders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with people analytics or workforce/HR-related datasets
  • Prior experience as a Power BI Developer or experience developing enterprise-grade BI solutions
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, statistical modeling, or data engineering concepts

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards using Power BI to support mission-critical decision making.
  • Utilize SQL, Power BI, and the broader Power Platform to manage, analyze, transform, and visualize data.
  • Implement and manage error handling, quality checks, and data correction processes.
  • Prepare clear technical documentation and communicate findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and take direction from multiple sources across a complex project environment.
  • Support ongoing DARPA program objectives through analytical rigor, innovation, and adaptability.
