About The Position

Join WM as a Data Specialist and turn complex data into clear, actionable insight that keeps our operations running strong. In this role, you’ll be the go‑to expert for validating daily route, timekeeping, and disposal data—digging into thousands of data points to spot errors, uncover root causes, and support smart business decisions. We’re looking for a detail-obsessed problem solver with intermediate–advanced Excel skills, experience in data analysis, and the curiosity of a detective—someone who can tell whether an issue is behavioral or technical and help drive continuous improvement. Familiarity with tools like KRONOS, OPUS, and NDO is a plus, along with comfort working independently in a remote environment. This position will require quarterly market meetings and site visits. This position supports our Greater Mid-Atlantic market, so candidates must live within a two-hour drive of the epicenter Newtown, PA. Requirements

High School Diploma (accredited)
2 years in a data analyst role
Intermediate–advanced Excel skills
Experience in data analysis
Candidates must live within a two-hour drive of the epicenter Newtown, PA.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with tools like KRONOS, OPUS, and NDO

Responsibilities

Communicate daily with driver(s) on designated communication platforms regarding missing time clock entries.
Validate all driver and helper information (including check-in/check-out), OPUS confirmations, and KRONOS information
Validation of Next Day Optimization (NDO) data
Manage cases and confirm/close-out customer tickets daily
Assist with data collection and reporting required for incentive pay programs
Landfill reconciliation, Area disposal reporting, update accounts in MAS with the appropriate information as needed
Shared responsibility with Business Manager to maintain data and site records
