This is a term-limited position, anticipated to last through 04/30/2029, contingent upon funding. The selected individual will be required to sign a waiver of retention rights, inferring no rights to retain a state-classified position beyond the assignment. This position is eligible for full benefits and is only open to Colorado state residents. Located at the Colorado Springs Office, the eligibility list established from this job announcement may be used to fill future Data Specialist vacancies in Colorado Springs. The position maintains electronic records for the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) by utilizing technical software to scan, process, index, review, save, store, ensure quality control, research, and retrieve documentation in compliance with established standards for information protection. Standard practices are used for identifying, sorting, and preparing documents for the scanning process.
