About The Position

We are seeking experienced Service Architects to design, develop, and evolve end-to-end service architectures across our global network and satellite portfolio. These roles will play a critical part in translating business and customer requirements into scalable, reliable, and cost-effective service solutions. The Service Architects will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, product management, and commercial teams to ensure service offerings are technically sound, operationally viable, and aligned with existing and planned infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science , or related field
• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications, networking, or satellite services
• Proven experience in service architecture / solution design
• Strong understanding of: IP networking (MPLS, VPNs, routing protocols)
• Strong understanding of: Satellite communications and ground infrastructure
• Strong understanding of: Network service delivery models and lifecycle
• Experience with end-to-end service design across multiple domains
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-aligned solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in satellite operators, service providers, or global network environments
• Familiarity with: Media architecture to include both Occassional and Dedicated solutions
• Familiarity with: SDN / NFV architectures
• Familiarity with: Network orchestration and automation platforms
• Familiarity with: Cloud networking and hybrid architectures
• Knowledge of ITIL or service management frameworks
• Experience with product development and service commercialization
• Exposure to MEF standards or similar service frameworks

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end service architectures spanning space, ground, and terrestrial network domains
• Translate customer and business requirements into detailed technical service designs
• Define service models, workflows, and operational processes (fulfillment, assurance, lifecycle management)
• Collaborate with: Network Engineering (capacity, topology, platforms), Product & Commercial teams (service definition and packaging), Operations (NOC, service delivery, support readiness)
• Develop standardized service templates and design frameworks to accelerate delivery
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, resilience, and security requirements
• Support cost modeling and business case development for new services
• Participate in customer engagements as the technical authority when needed
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and architectural strategy
