About The Position

GRVTY is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support mission-driven analytics and modernization efforts across the Intelligence Community. The position uses advanced analytics, automation, data modeling, and visualization to address complex intelligence and operational challenges. The Senior Data Scientist transforms large, complex datasets into actionable intelligence, modernizes analytic workflows, and develops scalable solutions that support enterprise decision-making and mission success. The role develops advanced analytic solutions, scalable data pipelines, automation strategies, and analytic processes that help intelligence analysts identify patterns, trends, and operational opportunities in large, diverse datasets. It applies data science techniques to mission problems and improves the efficiency, repeatability, and rigor of analytic workflows. The Senior Data Scientist uses senior-level Python skills to build tools, automate manual work, and create reusable analytic capabilities. Responsibilities also include developing visualizations and dashboards that communicate findings clearly, and rapidly prototyping and deploying solutions as customer needs evolve. The position independently manages multiple concurrent projects and collaborates with multidisciplinary Intelligence Community teams, applying modern data science practices to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions aligned with enterprise modernization initiatives.

Requirements

Active TS/SCI clearance; ability to obtain a CI Poly.
Senior-level proficiency in Python and experience developing production-quality analytic applications and automation solutions.
Demonstrated proficiency designing and implementing scalable processes for large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and analytical discoveries.
Experience developing data models, automation workflows, repeatable analytic processes, visualizations, dashboards, and data products that communicate complex findings and support operational decision-making.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Demonstrated experience supporting intelligence missions through data science, advanced analytics, or intelligence analysis.
Ability to operate independently at a senior level with minimal oversight.

Nice To Haves

Experience with additional programming languages or low-code/no-code platforms.
Experience applying machine learning or artificial intelligence techniques to intelligence problems.
Experience working with cloud-based data platforms and distributed computing environments.
