About The Position

This role is for a Data Scientist with a focus on Systems Software development. The ideal candidate will have experience in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and end-to-end project workflows. A strong background in Defensive Cyber Operations and Machine Learning techniques is essential. An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with end-to-end workflows/projects
• 3+ years of Defensive Cyber Operations experience
• 3+ years of Machine Learning techniques and statistical model evaluation
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph required
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree in lieu of years of experience

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in relevant field and 4 years of experience
• Demonstrated expertise with R or Python, and SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large and small data sets
• Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services), Cisco (CCNA), and/or STIGs/IAVA, Big Data Platform (BDP)

Responsibilities

• Utilize Python for data analysis and model development.
• Manage and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Oversee end-to-end project workflows.
• Engage in Defensive Cyber Operations.
• Apply Machine Learning techniques and evaluate statistical models.
• Manipulate data and derive insights using R, Python, and SQL.
• Work with Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)/Windows/Virtual environments.
• Solve problems using engineering skills to determine solutions.
