About The Position

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Scientist for a 6-month contract position in New York, NY. This role involves building and maturing the data foundation for support and integrity metrics, including LLM-based conversational data. The Data Scientist will develop new metrics, debug existing ones, design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of product and operational changes, build dashboards and reporting infrastructure, run root cause analyses on sales escalations and support trends, and prepare business reviews for senior leadership. This role requires close partnership with engineering and product teams on fixes and new measurement needs.

Requirements

• Strong data foundation experience, including LLM-based conversational data and building/maturing metrics like Task Completion Rate
• Strong experimentation and experimental design background, including measuring impact when the underlying data is changing
• Hands-on dashboard development and the data modeling needed to support reporting
• Comfortable presenting findings to senior leadership
• Must be local to the New York area (no relocation)
• US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Build and mature the data foundation behind support and integrity metrics, including LLM-based conversational data
• Develop new metrics and debug low-maturity ones (e.g., Task Completion Rate)
• Design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of product and operational changes, including changes to the underlying data
• Build dashboards and the reporting infrastructure behind them
• Run root cause analyses (RCAs) on sales escalations and support trends, especially during peak season
• Prepare and present weekly and biweekly business reviews (e.g., CSAT drivers, what's working and what isn't) directly to director-level leadership
• Partner with engineering and product teams on fixes and new measurement needs, which shift week to week
