About The Position

We specialize in providing high-volume contingent staffing, direct hire staffing and project-based solutions to companies worldwide ranging from startups to Fortune 500 and Managed Service Providers (MSP) across a wide variety of industries. As a Data Scientist Contractor, you will analyze complex data sets to extract meaningful insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

5-7 years of experience in Data Science, with a strong focus on business-facing product analytics; financial products experience is a plus
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; experience querying and extracting data from big data environments (Spark) highly desirable
Experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, including control group setup and efficacy measurement
Working knowledge of when and how to apply AI/LLM capabilities to business problems, with the ability to communicate those recommendations to business partners (this is not a deep ML/AI engineering role)
Strong critical thinking skills, able to take an ambiguous problem statement and break it down into smaller, actionable steps
Demonstrated experience applying statistical rigor and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large, complex data sets
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-starter who can drive projects with little supervision

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Tableau or similar BI/visualization tools

Responsibilities
