About The Position

The Senior Data Scientist will leverage advanced analytical techniques and domain expertise to identify, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that support strategic business objectives. The Applied AI team develops advanced Search and Personalization solutions to enhance the shopping experience by making it more relevant and intuitive. Leveraging machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI technologies, the team builds scalable systems that enable efficient product discovery. Team members collaborate closely, applying expertise in algorithms and solution design to deliver innovative, impactful results aligned with business goals. The team maintains a professional environment focused on technical excellence, continuous improvement, and customer-centric innovation, driving meaningful advancements in data science and artificial intelligence.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling with proficiency in Python and related programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of data source identification, data quality assessment, and data governance principles.
  • Expertise in developing, testing, validating, and deploying scalable analytical models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques to effectively communicate insights to business stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex business problems into data-driven solutions and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Experience mentoring junior associates and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field.
  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in an analytics related field.
  • 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.

Responsibilities
