About The Position

GRVTY is seeking experienced Data Scientists to perform tasks associated with Big Data Platform management, apply programming skills, develop and refine prototype algorithms, and support data visualization and analytics. The role involves experience across areas such as machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, domain-focused data science, and software engineering. Experience in more than five of these areas is strongly preferred.

The position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. Candidates must have a qualifying degree and relevant experience, subject to the stated degree and experience alternatives. The listed pay range is $105,000–$135,000.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree and 12 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience clearly related to the position.
• Degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Science, Operations Research, or Computer Science. A related field, physical or hard science, or another science discipline with a substantial computational component may be considered if coursework includes a concentration in advanced mathematics and/or computer science.
• Relevant experience in one or more areas including machine learning, data science, advanced analytical algorithms, programming, data mining, advanced statistical analysis, advanced mathematical foundations, artificial intelligence, workflow and reproducibility, data management and curation, data modeling and assessment, data science supporting one or more domain areas, and software engineering.
