About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or relevant and experience working with data (internships or academic projects are acceptable)
• Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) and data manipulation tools
• Basic understanding of statistical techniques or machine learning concepts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a relevant field
• 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, data science, or a related field
• Demonstrated understanding of machine learning techniques and modeling approaches
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with big data technologies, cloud platforms, or distributed computing frameworks

Responsibilities

• Collects, cleans, and organizes data from various internal and external sources
• Conducts exploratory data analyses to identify trends, correlations, and insights
• Develops, tests, and refines predictive models for operational outcomes
• Creates data visualizations and dashboards to communicate results and recommendations
• Participates in cross-functional projects to support business objectives
• Documents findings, methods, and best practices for ongoing knowledge sharing
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to define project objectives and analytical requirements
• Contributes to process improvements and data-driven strategies within the organization
• Provides support for storm restoration efforts
