The role turns complex process data into clear insights that support scientific research, development, testing, and process improvement. It analyzes data from materials, processes, and experiments under a range of conditions to support better decisions across development work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, Master’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a PhD in data sciences or a related field.
  • Experience working as a data scientist, data analyst, or in a similar role supporting scientific or process development work.
  • Strong experience with data integration, data cleaning, and working across multiple data sources.
  • Strong experience building data visualizations, dashboards, and reports for technical audiences.
  • Experience developing statistical, machine learning, or predictive models for scientific or process data.
  • Understanding of biotherapeutics process development, biopharmaceutical data, or related laboratory and manufacturing data.
  • Ability to independently analyze complex data, select appropriate methods, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Familiarity with laboratory, process development, or manufacturing systems used to generate and manage scientific data.
  • Ability to support junior team members and contribute to process improvements through data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and support data integration workflows that combine process development data from multiple sources.
  • Build and improve data visualization tools and dashboards to help teams explore trends, patterns, and process performance.
  • Develop statistical and predictive models to support biotherapeutics process development and data-driven decision-making.
  • Independently analyze complex datasets and identify useful insights, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with scientific and technical teams to define data needs, align on analysis approaches, and support project timelines and deliverables.
  • Present data findings, models, and technical updates at team meetings and project reviews.
  • Troubleshoot data, software, or analysis issues and recommend practical improvements.
  • Serve as a technical resource and trainer for the team on data tools, analysis methods, and visualization practices.
  • Participate in external collaborations and interactions to support data analysis, model development, and knowledge transfer.
