About The Position

CACI is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Data Scientist to join our team in support of the Air Force DCGS Program. As a Data Scientist, you will leverage your extensive background in data management and machine learning to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights that support mission objectives. You will work within a dynamic cross-functional team to develop and implement data-driven solutions that enhance the capabilities of the DCGS Program. Your expertise in natural language processing, self-supervised learning, and various programming languages will be crucial in optimizing data systems and supporting operations.

Requirements

  • T S/SCI security clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a foundational STEM-based discipline (e.g., Natural & Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Technology & Computer Sciences)
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Python, R, JS, C++, C, C-Sharp, NetLogo, VBA, BASIC, and SQL
  • Strong experience with data science tools and frameworks
  • Background in machine learning with a specialty in natural language processing and self-supervised learning
  • Experience in developing automated analysis tools and containerized application workflows
  • Willingness to work a hybrid schedule with occasional onsite requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with GPU-optimized ETL, data analysis, and cloud deployment
  • Experience in a DoD or intelligence community environment
  • Relevant certifications such as TensorFlow in Practice Specialization, Natural Language Processing with Attention Models, or Certificate in Python for Data Science, Web and Core Programming

Responsibilities

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis using multiple programming languages and data formats to identify trends, patterns, and insights within large datasets
  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms, with a specialty in natural language processing and self-supervised learning
  • Support multiple data input paradigms for contextual reuse among models
  • Create and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage of large-scale data using tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, PySpark, and Kubernetes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with mission goals
  • Communicate complex analytical results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Prepare and present data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with relevant security protocols and regulations
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in data science
