Data Scientist, Senior

Booz Allen HamiltonArlington, VA
$99,000 - $225,000

About The Position

As an analytics professional, you’re excited at the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by a data set, and you’re fascinated by the possibilities presented by IoT, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. This opportunity is for someone who cares about moving a mission forward as much as advancing the field of data science. Your deep analytics and machine learning expertise and consulting mindset, coupled with an original approach to your work, will help clients and stakeholders make sense of their data and encourage actionable results. The role involves leading complex data exploration and analytics projects through experience with Python and AI/ML for the Department of Defense. As an advanced data scientist on the Navy team, you’ll learn and apply innovative data analytic methodologies to make a real-world impact on the development of decision support tools. You’ll grow your skills in data science, AI, and bibliometrics, and shape the future of analytics through innovative portfolio analysis and decision support tooling in DoD environments. The company offers access to online courses, communities of practice, and opportunities to publish or present at conferences. You will guide a team that serves critical missions from end to end, whether using AI to improve government efficiency or support the development of defense capabilities.
