About The Position

Work as a Data Scientist supporting an intelligence client's foreign ground force reporting requirements. Work as part of a diverse contract team performing in-depth technical analysis of foreign conventional and irregular warfare threats to US ground force systems, combat support systems, and US operations. Finished all-source intelligence products adhere to client and IC standards using a multi-discipline approach including HUMINT, IMINT/GEOINT, MASINT, SIGINT, and OSINT tools through various data collection procedures and technologies, including emerging data science and big data methodologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
  • Knowledge of statistical and general purpose programming languages, SQL, and NoSQL
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in a Science field

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
  • Knowledge of DoD Intelligence processes, activities, standards, and available analytic tools
  • Master's degree in a Science field

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth technical analysis of foreign conventional and irregular warfare threats to US ground force systems, combat support systems, and US operations.
  • Produce all-source intelligence products adhering to client and IC standards using a multi-discipline approach.
  • Utilize HUMINT, IMINT/GEOINT, MASINT, SIGINT, and OSINT tools through various data collection procedures and technologies.
  • Apply emerging data science and big data methodologies.
  • Conduct data analytics, data engineering, data mining, exploratory analysis, predictive analysis, and statistical analysis.
  • Use scientific techniques to correlate data into graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products.
  • Proactively retrieve information from various sources and analyze it for better understanding.
  • Build AI tools that automate certain processes.
  • Provide in-depth scientific and technical analysis to support analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries.
  • Clearly articulate key findings.
  • Define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
  • Review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions.
  • Routinely test the analytic rigor of analytic products.
