About The Position

This role requires a Principal Data Scientist with expertise in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and end-to-end project workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Defensive Cyber Operations and Machine Learning techniques, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in each. An active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field along with 8 years of experience is required, though an advanced degree can substitute for some of the years of experience. Desired qualifications include a Master's degree with 4 years of experience, demonstrated proficiency in R or Python and SQL for data analysis, and exposure to AWS, Cisco technologies, STIGs/IAVA, and Big Data Platforms. A strong understanding of Linux and Windows environments, along with experience in Jupyter Notebooks and Network Analysis Tools, is also beneficial.

Requirements

• Proficient in Python
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with end-to-end workflows/projects
• 3+ years of Defensive Cyber Operations experience
• 3+ years of Machine Learning techniques and statistical model evaluation
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph required for consideration
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field and 8 years of experience
• Demonstrated expertise with R or Python, and SQL to manipulate data and draw insights from large and small data sets
• Strong background and skills in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)/Windows/Virtual environments
• A problem solver who can get in, be given a project, and use engineering skills to determine a solution
