About The Position

This role is for a Data Scientist in the New Grad Leadership Program, working within the AI & Innovation team at Westinghouse. The program involves rotations through various departments such as AI & Data Infrastructure, Innovation Portfolio, and AI Strategy, Governance, and Business Partners. The position is hybrid and based in Cranberry, PA. The program aims to develop leadership skills and provide hands-on experience with artificial intelligence and digital technologies to enhance Westinghouse's products, services, and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences with an emphasis on data systems
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities well defined on your resume
• Outstanding academic achievement
• Knowledge of digital technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI), with the ability to identify and apply these solutions to create value.
• Business-oriented mindset to connect technological capabilities with strategic goals and operational needs across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through a series of rotations to deliver value across multiple departments and global locations, involving planning, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.
• Gain hands-on experience and develop an understanding of different teams during rotations.
• For each rotation/department, develop an understanding of the strategic direction and business environment, and evaluate how business strategies align with the business direction.
• Identify areas of improvement and use problem-solving and data analysis skills to propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of each rotational department.
• Develop a foundation of leadership.
• Use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced digital technologies to improve Westinghouse products, services, and processes, driving innovation for long-term operation and new nuclear builds worldwide.
• Collaborate within a global AI & Innovation team, partnering with diverse departments to deliver strategic value and promote digital transformation across projects.
