Data Scientist Intern - February 2027 | NYC
About The Position
Integrated within Ardian's data science team, the Data Scientist Intern will work on data projects directly related to Ardian's portfolio assets, including industrial companies in sectors such as renewable energy, transportation, retail, and healthcare, as well as broader company projects such as generative AI. The role requires autonomy and includes regular supervision from other data scientists and team managers. It provides direct exposure to the management of the companies concerned and to current decarbonization and sustainable development issues. Depending on workload and the intern's interests, the intern may also work on topics related to the fund's broader investment and asset management activities.
Requirements
- Currently a third-year student undertaking an end-of-studies internship or a second-year student undertaking a second gap-year internship at an engineering or business school, pursuing a degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, operations research, or a related field.
- Prior experience in data science.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Fluent English.
- Rigor, motivation, autonomy, responsiveness, team spirit, excellent communication skills, the ability to simplify complex technical concepts, and efficiency.

- Good command of Excel and PowerPoint.
