The Summer Games is a competitive, collaborative internship program that places interns on teams to develop a breakthrough idea or solution for a customer’s complex problem. The program simulates a startup accelerator environment. Interns receive mentorship from senior leaders, use Booz Allen products and engagement models, and collaborate on challenge projects. The summer concludes with a Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. Example projects have included technology and business plans to help blind individuals navigate, and an app for military commanders to track real-time and open-source information about developing situations. Applicants must be scheduled to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a technology, engineering, or mathematics field by Winter or Summer 2028 or Summer 2029. Selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The role is located in Royal Oak, Michigan; the posting does not specify a workplace type.
