About The Position

CACI is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support the Army DCS, G-6, Network Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) Services Integration (NC4SI) Directorate and its Task Order for G-6 Network Plans & Enterprise Information Environment Mission Area (EIEMA) Management. NC4SI provides planning, analytical, operational, policy, technical, and management services at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. The position requires an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Travel may be required up to 10% locally. This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance and ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in data science roles; military or government project experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with Army-specific data tools and platforms.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into actionable strategies for senior leadership decision-making.
• Understanding of the Palantir Ontology Manager and the data architecture and infrastructure required for Army Vantage.
• Proficiency with data science tools, programming languages, and frameworks such as Python, R, SQL, Palantir Ontology, and Palantir Data Marketplace.
• Experience building and integrating APIs into Army Vantage and other Army or Department of Defense platforms, including API orchestration and policy considerations.
• Familiarity with Army data systems and protocols for API integration across Army platforms.
• Strong data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine-learning skills.

• Master’s degree in a STEM field, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Engineering.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating across disciplines to enhance technical developments.
• Understanding of Army security protocols and compliance requirements for handling sensitive data.
• Familiarity and experience with Department of Defense IL4, IL5, and IL6 cloud environments and data exchange via CDS.
• Certifications in Data Science, Cloud Computing, or related fields.
• Experience with military or government projects.
• Proven track record deploying ensemble predictive machine-learning models, neural networks, and LLM vectorization and customization.

Responsibilities

• Use data science tools, programming languages, and frameworks, including Python, R, SQL, Palantir Ontology, and Palantir Data Marketplace.
• Build and integrate APIs into Army Vantage and other Army or Department of Defense platforms, including API orchestration and policy considerations.
• Deploy APIs and integrate automated data pipelines across Army and vendor platforms, including AESMP, Army 365, DISA circuit utilization, Netops Tools, Splunk, and First Alert.
• Integrate APIs across Army platforms using applicable Army data systems and protocols.
• Develop within the Army Vantage environment using Palantir Foundry applications, including Workshop, Pipeline Builder, and Automate, and Palantir AIP tools such as AIP Logic Functions, AIP Threads, and AIP Chatbot Studio.
• Apply knowledge of the Palantir Ontology Manager and the data architecture and infrastructure required for Army Vantage.
• Develop dynamic visualizations for executive-level audiences.
• Analyze data and apply statistical modeling and machine-learning techniques, including ensemble predictive models, neural networks, and LLM vectorization and customization.
• Interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights to support senior leadership decision-making.
