About The Position

This role focuses on leveraging AI/ML techniques within Defensive Cyber Operations. The position requires a strong background in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data analysis, with a focus on applying these skills to cybersecurity challenges. The ideal candidate will be proficient in programming languages like Python and SQL, and have experience with various operating systems and cloud environments.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Defensive Cyber Operations experience.
• 3+ years of Machine Learning techniques and statistical model evaluation.
• Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph required for consideration.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree in lieu of years of experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with R or Python, and SQL.
• Strong background and skills in Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL)/Windows/Virtual environments.
• Proficiency with Python, Jupyter Notebooks, and Network Analysis Tools.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in a relevant field and 4 years of experience.
• Exposure to AWS (Amazon Web Services).
• Exposure to Cisco (CCNA).
• Exposure to STIGs/IAVA.
• Exposure to Big Data Platform (BDP).

Responsibilities

• Apply Machine Learning techniques and statistical model evaluation to defensive cyber operations.
• Manipulate data and draw insights from large and small datasets using R or Python, and SQL.
• Utilize engineering skills to determine solutions for cyber-related projects.
• Work with various operating systems including Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) and Windows.
• Engage with cloud environments such as AWS.
• Analyze network data using Network Analysis Tools.
