About The Position
24-MAG LLC is offering a remote independent-contractor consulting engagement for experienced data science and analytics professionals to support an AI training and presentation-evaluation project. The work centers on statistical reasoning, data analysis, PowerPoint reconstruction and design, data visualisation, analytical reporting, and improving the clarity and quality of business communication. No prior AI experience is required. Contributors will analyse complex datasets, identify meaningful findings, and assess whether conclusions are supported by the evidence. They will reconstruct and enhance data-driven presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint, preserving analytical meaning while improving slide structure, visual hierarchy, consistency, and storytelling. They will also create reports and refine written content so that insights and recommendations are accurate, concise, and useful to decision-makers. The engagement is remote and limited to contributors in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada. Compensation is $150–$350 per hour. Project scope, datasets, presentation types, and analytical requirements may evolve, and iterative reviews and feedback may be part of delivery. Work must not use confidential or proprietary information belonging to any employer, client, institution, organisation, or other third party.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience analysing complex datasets.
- Advanced statistical reasoning and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong slide-reconstruction and presentation-design skills.
- Ability to visualise complex information effectively and translate quantitative findings into business-oriented insights.
- Strong understanding of data storytelling and visual communication.
- Experience creating analytics reports for diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication and content-editing skills.
- Strong critical thinking and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate analytical conclusions clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work remotely and collaboratively with evolving requirements.
- Work must be completed without using confidential or proprietary third-party information.

Responsibilities
- Analyse datasets using sound statistical and analytical methods.
- Identify trends, patterns, relationships, and anomalies, and translate findings into practical business conclusions.
- Evaluate whether analytical claims are appropriately supported by available data and apply critical judgement to quantitative and qualitative information.
- Reconstruct and redesign data-driven business slides in Microsoft PowerPoint, improving clarity, hierarchy, structure, and visual consistency while preserving analytical meaning.
- Transform complex datasets into accessible visual insights and select appropriate charts, tables, and graphical structures.
- Build narratives connecting evidence, insights, and recommendations, tailored to stakeholder and executive audiences.
- Develop analytical reports summarising findings, trends, and recommendations.
- Edit and refine presentation content, headings, action titles, and commentary for accuracy, clarity, flow, and narrative impact.
- Review presentations and reports to identify weak visualisations, unclear messaging, and unsupported conclusions.
- Refine deliverables against data-communication and presentation best practices, incorporate feedback and revisions, and maintain accuracy and consistency.
