About The Position

Ketjen Corporation, a provider of advanced catalyst solutions to leading producers in the petrochemical, refining, and specialty chemicals industries, is seeking rising sophomores and juniors to join our Summer 2026 Data Science Internship Program. The ideal candidate would be available to work full-time for 12 weeks from May 17, 2027 to August 6, 2027 at one of our sites in the Houston, TX area. Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Must be able to commit to a full-time schedule (40 hrs/week)
• Seeking sophomore or junior level candidates (any graduation date between Dec 2027 to Dec 2029)
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an ABET Accredited University majoring in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics, or a similar discipline
• Cumulative GPA 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

Nice To Haves

• Prior industrial or manufacturing experience a plus
• Ability to participate in multiple Ketjen Internship or Co-Op sessions is a plus!

• SQL Server/SSMS IDE
• VBA within Excel
• Python/Django via PyCharm Professional IDE
• Azure DevOps for project tracking and code versioning (GIT)
