About The Position

Join the U.S. Venture Data and Analytics team as a Data Science Intern for Summer 2027! U.S. Venture’s Internship Program runs May - August 2027. Dates may vary based on individual class schedules. This position is located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI. The ideal candidate is a data enthusiast who is looking to apply data science methodologies and solutions in industry to solve real-world business scenarios. The right candidate will be excited by the prospect of identifying and implementing data science solutions that support US Venture’s strategic initiatives. We are seeking an intern who is self-directed and will be comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems, and products. We are seeking a team player possessing strong analytical as well as technical skills and who can communicate the logic behind technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• Ability to build processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management
• Proficiency in Python, with a strong emphasis on data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as Pandas
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require U.S. Venture’s sponsorship to continue to work legally in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstration of previous data science projects is preferred
