We are seeking a Data Science Intern to join our team for the summer of 2025. As a Data Science Intern, you will work on our Business Intelligence & Data Transformations Team on a variety of data-driven projects. You will have the opportunity to apply machine learning, data analysis, and statistical techniques to real-world datasets. You will gain exposure to industry-standard tools and technologies while making valuable contributions to the team.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundation in data analysis, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R; experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or TensorFlow is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL and experience working with databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.
  • Available to work full-time during the summer of 2025.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Database systems such as Snowflake
  • Familiarity of ELT & reporting systems such as fabric Data Factory/ADF and PowerBI a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist in gathering, cleaning, and preprocessing large datasets for analysis.
  • Apply machine learning algorithms and statistical models to derive insights and predictions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of data pipelines and data processing workflows.
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions, offering fresh perspectives and ideas.
