Data Science and Analytics Manager
About The Position
The Boeing Company, specifically the BDS Air Dominance Proprietary AM-H Digital Infrastructure Segment (DIS), is seeking a Data Science & Analytics Manager to lead the Engineering Data Science team in Hazelwood, MO. This team is responsible for defining, developing, and deploying predictive/prescriptive analytic solutions to meet program objectives related to product development and manufacturing processes. The manager will collaborate across the program and the enterprise with personnel from IT&DA, the Software Engineering AI organization, and BDS DA&DI organizations. The team will comprise engineering data scientists and systems engineers, working with LLMs and developing ML algorithms and data visualizations in conjunction with broader organizational data scientists.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related technical discipline
- 7+ years of related-work experience
- Experience leading projects
- Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
