About The Position

We are seeking a Data Quality and System Analyst I to coordinate system analysis, design, and optimization while developing and implementing data validation and cleansing processes to ensure accuracy and integrity—all with the goal of driving operational efficiency. Requirements

Experience in documenting user stories and capturing business requirements
Strong capability in managing Functional Specification documents, aligning system requirements across cross-functional teams, and identifying and routing defects for timely resolution
Experience with or a strong desire to learn data analysis and visualization tools, including SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Snowflake, Tableau, Excel, and SQL.
Partner with leadership to evaluate new business initiatives, safeguard data accuracy, integrity and operational efficiency
At least 2 years of experience working with provider, member, or clinical information, preferably in a healthcare or insurance environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with industry standards.
Solid project management skills to effectively balance multiple priorities and drive efficiency in fast-paced environments.
Proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset, eager to learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and emerging technologies.
Proficient in identifying, analyzing, and resolving data quality issues and system inefficiencies to enhance accuracy and reliability.
Skilled in collaborating with diverse individual contributors, teams and departments
Experience with documentation and process mapping tools.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Dental on Demand (DoD) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Define and capture business requirements to support system design, testing, and deployment.
Perform data validation and analysis to support decision-making, ensuring accuracy and integrity through cleansing processes.
Conduct in-depth analysis of datasets to proactively identify inconsistencies, eliminate duplicates, resolve missing values, and detect systemic data errors that impact business operations.
Manage provider data lifecycle, ensuring data quality, traceability, and the resolution of inconsistencies.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system-related issues, conducting root cause analysis and recommending improvements.
Develop and maintain system specifications, flow diagrams, and documentation for business and technical teams.
Execute system integration, user acceptance testing (UAT), audits, and corrective actions to maintain data quality and functionality.
Continuously enhance understanding of key applications and collaborate to ensure seamless system implementation and performance.
Maintain detailed records of data sources, transformations, and access points to ensure traceability and clarity.
Analyze data to determine modifications needed to procedures, processes, and practices.
Interpret and translate technical concepts for diverse audiences, train staff on data standard processes and system use.
Serve as a National Provider File (NPF) Coordinator to ensure provider data is accurate and compliant with all DDPA standards.
