The successful applicant will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining data quality solutions, as well as introducing technical innovations that enhance users’ data capabilities. Key responsibilities include working in the GCP environment, leveraging AI solutions, conducting data analysis, collaborating with database developers to improve data collection and storage processes, and preparing comprehensive data analysis reports. To excel in the role of Data Quality/Innovation Analyst, candidates should possess extensive knowledge of data analysis methodologies and demonstrate a strong technical background. An outstanding analyst will apply their expertise to deliver accurate and dependable information to company executives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in data analysis
  • Skilled in SQL and Python
  • Experience with PowerBI and MS Excel
  • Cross-platform connectivity knowledge
  • Proficient with GCP tools (Big Query, Dataplex, Astronomer)
  • CI/CD pipeline development
  • Handling sensitive data and GDPR/CCPA compliance
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with data analysis best practices
  • Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive background in data migration, warehousing, governance, and delivering comprehensive data management solutions
  • Proficient in data modelling and architectural design
  • Experience using any of the Industry standard Data Quality tools, like Informatica Data Quality (IDQ), Collibra, etc.
  • Skilled in configuring software, deploying systems, managing production rollouts, and monitoring operations
  • Experienced in mapping both logical and physical data models
  • Practical experience implementing non-functional requirements for data management solutions
  • Solid hands-on expertise with batch scheduling and various automation tools
  • Capable of gathering information and effectively analyzing issues

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating effectively as a project team alongside a range of technology and business stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Carrying out statistical analyses on large datasets to assess data quality and integrity.
  • Leveraging expertise in end-to-end data processes to analyze, cleanse, and enhance data elements, ensuring seamless and consistent data flows between users and stakeholders.
  • Overseeing data governance initiatives and maintaining integrity by coordinating data management throughout the organization.
  • Assessing system design and performance to understand their impact on data quality.
  • Working closely with database developers to optimize data collection and storage practices.
  • Executing data queries to highlight coding errors and data anomalies, followed by cleaning the affected data.
  • Collecting data from primary and secondary sources to detect and interpret emerging trends.
  • Creating Data Quality rules utilizing Google Cloud Platform tools.
  • Reviewing current processes for improvement opportunities or proposing new procedures to strengthen team and process efficiency.
  • Communicating findings from data analysis to management, aiding informed decision-making and helping prioritize information system requirements.
  • Documenting workflows and maintaining comprehensive data records.
  • Following industry best practices for data collection and analysis.
  • Staying updated with advances in Master Data Management and Data Quality practices.
  • Mastering the six principal dimensions of data quality: Accuracy, Completeness, Consistency, Timeliness, Validity, and Uniqueness.
  • Implementing data remediation strategies, including establishing methods to quarantine poor-quality data and designing workflows for data stewards to resolve issues.
