About The Position

This role involves supporting the Powerplant Division by managing parts data within the AMOS Database. The Data Processor will work closely with Production to identify parts for removal, perform part removals and installations, update Work In Progress (WIP) records, and potentially create serial numbers in the AMOS database. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Physical demands include frequent reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, and using hands, with occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The role also requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds. The work environment is primarily a construction/maintenance setting with usually loud noise levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
• The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stand; walk; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls.
• The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Working with Production on identifying Parts that require removal in the AMOS Database.
• Part Removals / Installations utilizing the AMOS Database.
• Updating WIP’s as directed by the Materials Supervisors / Leads.
• In some cases may be responsible to create S/N in the AMOS database.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Supervisor / Materials Manager
