About The Position

In the role of Data Processor, you will be responsible for entering protected health information, which is confidential and sensitive, into the company’s proprietary software system, ERMA. This includes processing client data related to accidents or related resident incidents occurring within senior living communities and assessing the level of risk associated with each incident based on company protocols. You will be expected to meet a minimum hourly volume of incident entries while ensuring that all information is captured completely and accurately. A strong attention to detail is required to data input, identifying errors and maintaining a high standard of data integrity. Excellent data entry, organizational skills and the ability to effectively self-manage time are essential. We will train on systems and protocols. Success in this role includes the ability to manage varying workloads while staying organized and meeting time-sensitive deadlines. You should have some corporate work experience or related business education or training. This is a long-term, part-time remote role. This group handles incident reporting seven days a week. You will have the flexibility to define your work schedule and days, averaging 15-30 hours per week. Company equipment will be provided.

Requirements

  • Administrative/clerical and customer service and data input experience
  • HS Diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and client management system highly preferred
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-confident to make sound independent decisions
  • Ability to successfully interact with a variety of stakeholders
  • Be a team player and be adaptive to mentoring and continual learning
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong emphasis on attention to detail and priority management

Responsibilities

  • Enter confidential and protected health information (PHI) related to resident incidents into the company’s proprietary ERMA system with a high degree of accuracy and completeness.
  • Review incident details and apply established company protocols to assess and document risk levels consistently.
  • Meet or exceed required hourly production standards while maintaining strict accuracy and data quality expectations.
  • Perform quality review of incident entries to identify errors, omissions, or inconsistencies and correct them promptly.
  • Maintain data integrity by ensuring all records are complete, properly categorized, and compliant with internal guidelines.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams to resolve missing, unclear, or incomplete information as needed.
  • Adhere to confidentiality, privacy, and security standards when handling sensitive health information.
  • Successfully self-manage time and workload in a remote work environment while consistently meeting performance expectations.
  • Assist with additional job-related duties, audits, or special projects as assigned.
  • Maintain a private workspace to secure company equipment and correspondence; maintain high-speed internet, be present and responsive online and minimize personal interruptions during your work shift.
