About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our long-term care team on a part-time night shift schedule. Every other weekend is required. This role is essential in providing high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive and collaborative environment. The LPN will work closely with RNs and other healthcare staff to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of New York
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Nice To Haves
- Experience in long-term care preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration and treatments
- Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the RN or physician
- Assist with care planning and documentation
- Support residents with daily living needs and ensure comfort measures are met
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
- Respond to resident needs and emergencies during overnight hours
