About The Position

Lockheed Martin is seeking a talented Level 4 Software Engineer/Product Owner with a Final Top Secret security clearance to work from our King of Prussia, PA or Littleton, CO location(s). The Hornet program is looking for a Software Product Owner of the Command and Control team, leading an agile software team. You will own the product backlog, and ensure that every feature meets system requirements, acceptance criteria, and quality standards. Acting as the technical liaison between customers, system engineering, and program leadership, the PO drives backlog prioritization, sprint planning, testing, and delivery of a high value, operationally ready software product.

Requirements

  • Agile scrum experience and proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Version One, Confluence)
  • Experience with Agile software development, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Cloud computing technology
  • Previous Data Processing experience
  • Experience working across teams or with external stakeholders
  • Experience with GitLab pipelines for software projects
  • Current TS Clearance prior to start and the ability to obtain SCI
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • BS degree
  • Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudicated SCI Eligibility (i.e. TS/SCI) prior to starting employment.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize and maintain the product backlog; define feature scope, acceptance criteria, and Definition of Done
  • Coordinate with program leadership to set Increment goals, plan increments, and coordinate Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, and Incremental Design Reviews with the Scrum Master
  • Translate customer/mission requirements into software features
  • Review and approve work items, merge requests, and test results to ensure defects are resolved and quality standards met
  • Manage feature dependencies, government furnished items (GFx), risks, and opportunities; coordinate with stakeholders
  • Represent the team in Engineering Review Boards, Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs), and Program Reviews; prepare and deliver technical artifacts and CDRLs
  • Provide technical leadership, vision, and guidance aligned with Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and customer priorities
  • Track and resolve Giver/Receiver interfaces, dependencies, and coordination with other Product Owners
