About The Position

As an intern at Tradeweb, you will gain practical, hands-on experience by working with technologists and business experts. The program combines traditional classroom settings with project-based work, allowing you to get involved with the firm's products and services. You will receive guidance from individuals at all levels of the organization, helping you build a professional network and relationships with the intern class through interactive outings and projects. This internship focuses on the Data Platform team, which is responsible for ingesting data for all business lines, making data available to users, managing data access and tools, and running critical data production services. The team also collaborates with Data Science and other internal teams to develop new data products and tools.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash/Shell scripting, SQL, and Git.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments and using command-line tools.
• Understanding of database technologies, architectures, and their appropriate use cases.
• Strong understanding of fundamental systems concepts, with the ability to evaluate and clearly explain technical trade-offs.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
• Strong passion for technology and continuous learning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience contributing to open-source projects.
