About The Position
As a Data Platform Architect at AFS, you will design and integrate forward-leaning engineering solutions for a client platform.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in any of the following: data engineering, database administration, cloud services, analytics, or related technical positions
- Strong skills in SQL, relational and NoSQL databases, and data warehouse technologies
- Experience designing ETL/ELT architectures, streaming ingestion, and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Spark, Kafka)
- Ability to implement data governance frameworks, access controls, encryption, and compliance standards
- An active TS/SCI is required
Responsibilities
- Conduct Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to inform target-state platform decisions
- Prototype safe, high-value AI integrations to minimize future rework
- Lead target-state discovery initiatives for client platform
- Develop and manage rollout roadmaps for the three domains
- Create and execute AI/ML technical integration plans
- Implement data governance and data quality frameworks
- Develop data quality scoring methodologies and AI catalog summarization processes
