About The Position

The Data Platform & Analytics Capability Lead will build, position, sell, and scale a new enterprise data and analytics capability. The role is accountable for evolving the service in response to market demand, developing a network of sellers and internal partners, and ensuring the capability remains relevant, scalable, and commercially viable. The successful candidate will combine business and consulting expertise with experience working alongside technical solutions and teams. They will qualify opportunities, tailor the capability to client needs, identify key effort drivers, and partner with technical leaders on detailed architecture and estimates. Familiarity with modern data platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and Databricks, is important, but this is not a hands-on technical role. The role also requires engaging senior client stakeholders to understand business priorities and translate complex data challenges into practical solutions and roadmaps. The lead will maintain continuity from opportunity shaping through delivery, aligning client expectations, contractual commitments, and capability standards. The anticipated posting date is 10/21/2026, and the posting will remain open for at least 21 days. Avanade offers a market-competitive benefits suite. Listed salary ranges vary by location: California, District of Columbia, New York, New Jersey, and Washington: $155,000–$190,000; Cleveland, Colorado, Maryland, and Massachusetts: $140,000–$170,000; Illinois and Minnesota: $150,000–$180,000.
