About The Position

This role is for a Data Platform Administrator with a permanent, full-time contract. The position involves a split between administration, development, and project work, with a focus on database clusters, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric. The administrator will monitor production databases, perform maintenance, optimize queries, provide development environments, promote coding best practices, and participate in projects such as data warehousing, Master Data Management, and server consolidation. A key aspect of the role includes assessing and migrating on-premises servers to Azure, administering Azure data platforms, and supporting the team with Microsoft Fabric administration.

Requirements

• 5+ years of SQL Server DBA experience
• Knowledge on SQL Always on / windows clustering
• Deep knowledge in T-SQL coding and query fine-tuning
• Server and database optimization
• Hands-on experience with database monitoring and maintenance operations
• Good level of English, written and spoken
• Highly motivated and committed team player with strong sense of autonomy.
• Database’s assessment and migration to Azure
• Azure managed instance administration
• Microsoft Fabric administration

Responsibilities
