The Oregon Department of Human Services is seeking a Data Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our Data Office. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are required for this position.
  • Six years of supervision, management, or progressively related experience; OR three years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Operational Leadership Experience leading complex operational programs or business functions by establishing priorities, improving processes, managing service delivery, and using performance measures to ensure high-quality results.
  • Supervision Experienced people leader who develops high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, workload planning, employee development, accountability, and creating an inclusive workplace where employees can thrive.
  • Collaboration Experience building strong partnerships across business units and technical teams. You communicate effectively with executive leadership, program staff, IT professionals, and stakeholders to solve problems, coordinate priorities, and achieve shared organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational leadership for the ODHS Data Office by managing the delivery of enterprise analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and data services.
  • Supervise multiple teams, establish operational priorities and service standards, oversee workload planning, and ensure data products are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with agency governance and strategic priorities.
  • Translate enterprise data governance into operational practice, foster collaboration across programs, improve business processes, and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, equity, and customer service.
  • Directly support the agency's mission by ensuring trusted data is available to inform policy, programs, and decisions that improve the lives of Oregonians.
