Requirements

  • This position requires at least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience analyzing and processing complex data sets (any title) using advanced querying, visualization and analytical tools, and gathering or providing understanding of business requirements.
  • Position also requires at least three (3) years of experience participating in performance improvement, developing aspects of the application database, and using Snowflake, Jira, Git, PL/SQL, and SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and automate large scale, high-performance data processing systems (batch and/or streaming) to drive business growth.
  • Build scalable data pipelines leveraging orchestration technologies allowing for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Design data models for optimal storage and retrieval and to meet critical product and business requirements.
  • Improve data quality by using and improving internal tools to automatically detect issues.
  • Design and implement data pipelines and data summarization processes using SQL and apply understanding of relational data structures.
  • Create a summary data platform supporting presentation layer that allows clinicians and operators in our practices to pinpoint interventions on-demand to patients most in need.
  • Work with analytics, engineering, and operations to design and implement new analytics products that support improving patient health.
  • Follow data best practices, including engagement in project status meetings and self-education on new technologies and practices.
  • Design a new concept within employer’s data model to meet a new operational or analytical need.
  • Utilize the following tools/technologies: Snowflake, Python, Scala, Java, Apache Spark, GitHub, Git, Jira, SQL, PL/SQL, and Jenkins.
