About The Position

Child Development Resources (CDR), a private, non-profit agency, strives to inspire and empower children, families, and early childhood professionals to reach their full potential, whatever their challenges. We are searching for a Data Manager to provide program data management and technical support to the Virginia Infant and Toddler Specialist Network (VA ITSN).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, with experience in data management
  • A high level of computer skills in using Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Publisher and in using the Internet
  • Must be able to work autonomously and as a team member with careful attention to detail
  • Requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Must possess the skills and ability to use equipment necessary to carry out job responsibilities (e.g. computer and training software, cell/telephone)
  • Must be able to travel throughout the state, including overnight and/or on weekends
  • Other physical requirements include the ability to travel independently by car and occasional lifting up to 40 pounds (bulk mail bags, boxes, etc)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, revise, and develop forms used by ITSN staff
  • Maintain VA ITSN database, used to monitor and track time, services, and performance of ITSN staff
  • Activate classrooms in the database for approved Coaching Agreements (CA)
  • Enter approved CA on Excel spreadsheet and all required information for classrooms receiving coaching services
  • Work with project database consultant to identify and ensure needed updates and/or modifications to database including revised or new database reports
  • Assist in compilation of evaluation data, including preparation of monthly, mid-year and year end reports required by Virginia Department of Education
  • Oversee and generate periodic data reports of program operations including state, regional office, and individual ITSN staff reports. Data reports include: coaching hours,training hours, evaluations, TA hours, ASQ-3, ASQ:SE-2, Child Specific Observation Scale, Child Referral
  • Work in conjunction with technical support sources as necessary
  • Coordinate needed technical support with CDR technical support staff
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor
