About The Position

The Data Entry Analyst is responsible for the accurate and timely collection, input, and maintenance of data within our ERP and auxiliary systems for our customer and vendor management. This role requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in data entry, and a solid understanding of data management principles. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate with various departments to gather necessary information and ensure data integrity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and speed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and JD Edwards preferred).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in data analytics, business, information systems, or related field.
• Experience in shared services – accounts receivable and payables.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of data management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Gather data from diverse sources including multiple informational systems, internal departments, external partners, and customers.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of collected data.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with data providers.
• Input data into the ERP system in accordance with established procedures and standards.
• Ensure data is entered accurately and consistently.
• Perform regular data audits to identify and correct errors.
• Maintain and update data within the ERP system to reflect changes in business operations.
• Maintain external connections to customer portal software.
• Conduct routine data cleaning and de-duplication activities.
• Develop and implement data quality improvement initiatives.
• Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
• Analyze data to identify potential issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related problems.
• Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
