Data Management Specialist (Mid-Level)
About The Position
SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental, LLC (SSE) is a government contracting and consulting firm supporting military installations and federal agencies across the nation. SSE is seeking a Data Management Specialist (Mid-Level) to support our ongoing mission with the 647 Civil Engineering Squadron (CES) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The Data Management Specialist will support Civil Engineering data management activities, including maintaining, validating, organizing, and analyzing data used to support installation asset management, facility and infrastructure planning, and operational decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution within the United States.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant data management, information management, or related experience.
- Experience maintaining, validating, analyzing, and reporting data.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Must be able to successfully complete the required Tier 1 background investigation and obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting military or federal Civil Engineering, facility, infrastructure, or asset-management data.
- Experience with Air Force Civil Engineering data systems or related database platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Civil Engineering data and databases supporting facility, infrastructure, asset management, and project requirements.
- Review, validate, and reconcile data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across applicable systems.
- Perform data entry, data analysis, quality assurance, and quality control activities.
- Identify data discrepancies and coordinate with appropriate stakeholders to research and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain reports, spreadsheets, tables, and other data products supporting Civil Engineering operations.
- Support data calls, recurring reporting requirements, and other requests for information.
- Coordinate with engineers, planners, project managers, and other Civil Engineering personnel to collect and maintain required data.
- Assist with improving data-management processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
